"You Never Give Me My Money" is the forth episode of Season 3

Plot

When Miley runs out of allowance money, she approaches her father for a raise, and suprisingly he gives her $5000 of "Hannah Money" and tells Jackson he'll reduce his curfew, as long as Jackson takes his cell phone with him.

When Miley is cashing the cheque, she starts to think that maybe her father is testing her, thinking she will blow the money. She becomes suspicious of everything he does, thinking that he's spying on her.

When Miley, Lilly and Oliver go to the mall, Miley gives her chequebook to Lilly, thinking she can't trust herself. After getting through half of the mall without being tempted she sees the "finest makeup in the world" and begs for her cheque book back, when this fails she steals a little girls Hannah wig to try and get the makeup free, which also fails.

After telling Lilly in a demonic voice that "Miley's not here anymore" and to give her the cheque book, Lilly throws it to oliver, who ducks as Miley flys over him, into a clamshell full of makeup powder.

Miley, after talking to her father, realises that he wasn't testing her after all and that he trusted her, and the only reason she messed up is because she didn't trust herself to spend in moderation.

In a sideplot, Jackson can find his phone anywhere, but pretends he knows where it is so he can go to the party. Robby Ray finds it in an egg carton in the fridge, but doesn't tell Jackson, as he needs his son to tell him the truth so that he knows he can trust him. After looking everywhere, and getting a dog to sniff it out, he finally gives in and tells his father, who is very proud of him.
